Exposure

Breathtaking. When getting up to speed on http://www.trendland.net/ Mark Leibowitz popped up and inspired me :) His recent backstage, long exposure photographs, for me define movement. The colours portray the vibrancy of Galliano's show aswell as capturing the buzzing atmosphere and the urgency. I showed the images to one of my tutors because i am eager to have ago myself but i didnt quite understand the process Leibowitz used to achieve such stunning pictures. One of the suggestions she gave me was long exposure with flash used in intervals through-out the exposure. Another way to achieve the look other than post production editing was multiple exposure, so taking the initial photograph rewinding the film and taking futher photographs on the same frame. I shall get my expeimenting gloves on now and hopefully you will see some of my results soon!
